Celebrating an Impressive Milestone: The 5th International Matchbox and Label Exhibition 2025.

Greetings to you all!

As you already know, the 5th International Matchbox and Label Exhibition 2025 is set to begin on January 1, 2025, organized by the Bangladesh Matchbox Collectors Club (BMCC) and the Australian Match Cover Collectors Society (AMCCS). The exhibition will run for a month as usual.

This virtual exhibition began in 2021, and since then, we have been organizing it successfully. Reaching this impressive milestone of 5 years is a testament to the growing popularity of this event and the dedication of collectors worldwide. This year, over 45 matchbox collectors from 13 countries are participating. Alongside the exhibition, we are also celebrating the 5th anniversary of the virtual exhibition. This success has been made possible due to your enthusiastic participation and support. On behalf of BMCC and AMCCS, we extend our heartfelt gratitude and thanks to everyone.

To mark this impressive milestone, we will select three best exhibits this year. The jury for this selection will be none other than Mr. David Figg, a renowned matchbox and stamp collector and the President of the Australian Match Cover Collectors Society. Based on his observations, Mr. Figg will select the three best exhibitions, and his decision will be considered final.

We hope everyone will enjoy this year's exhibition. We are committed to continuing this event in the future and believe that, as in past years, you will stand by us.

In addition to the exhibition, our regular feature, the BMCC Best Member Award, will also be presented this year.

Starting in 2025, BMCC will host an Honorary Recognition program to celebrate individuals dedicated to matchbox collecting. Each year, one individual will be honored for their contribution to this field. We have already selected a collector for 2025, who will formally receive this recognition.

On the occasion of the 5th International Exhibition, we will publish a special edition of "Diyashlai." This edition will feature writings from distinguished collectors from both home and abroad.
